In the early hours of the morning we unveiled a new look to the classifieds. Nothing too dramatic, but I think it looks a little cleaner.

We’re offering free trials on the new enhanced ads. Just select whether you want bold or highlighted listings, or both, and where we had a pay with amazon button, for right now there is a button to accept the free ad. I’m not sure how long we’re going to extend the offer.

My apologies to followers of Pennswoods.net Classifieds. The Classifieds have been running a little slower lately during peak usage hours. Tonight with a lot of our coverage area having rainy weather, and more time to spend with us, things got pretty sluggish. I greatly appeciate your patience and continued support.

We’ve increased the speed of the ad searches, which appears to have been the major drain on the computers. I have high expectations that we should see better performance after tonight. If not, we will continue working to provide an improved experience.

I’d like to give a special thank you to those who have purchased enhanced ads in the last day and a half. Your patronage is greatly appreciated.
