Merry Christmas one and all. May God bless each of us.
There’s a lot to be thankful for this year. We demonstrated once again that we can change political parties without violence. We’re seeing a climb out of some bad economic years.
Find some time to reflect on what you’re thankful for this year. For me, one of those things is the opportunity to provide a website to a lot of great people.
Those of you who have served our country, Thank You!
Today marks 15 years since the attack against us we refer to as 9-11. Please take a few moments to think about not only our fallen, but the first responders who continue to stand ready every day.
I hope everyone got some quality time today. God bless.
This announcement is for our “official” council members(Chad, Christine, and Jeff) as well as our “unlisted” members that may be interested. Youth protection training can be found at http://www.scouting.org/Training/Adult.aspx . Once you are on the first page click on youth protection training online. The next page will ask you to create a “my scouting” account then select youth protection training once again. You will be directed to a page listing the possible online training available through scouting. Look under the Cub Scout tab and select the youth protection training. The prompts guide you to completion of it. Once you have print out the certificate and give it to me.
Also, there is a pack committee training that is recommended. It is under the cub scout tab as well.
There is no rush to get this done. Thank you everyone for your assistance in the scouting program.
brian was here.
I hope everyone has stuffed themselves with some turkey and spent the day with some loved ones. I also hope you’ve found a moment or two to reflect on what you are thankful for.
One of the things I find myself thankful for is the opportunity to work in IT and provide a service that others find useful.
Happy Veteran’s Day!
As the bumper sticker says, “If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you are reading this in English, thank a veteran.”
Pack 66 participated in the Memorial Day parade today. It was a beautiful day for it.
Thanks to all the past and present service men and women. May the sun shine especially bright for you today.
