Obama is saying he’ll come out today with a comprehensive gun control agenda. Depending on what source you read this is likely to include as many as 19 executive orders, magazine capacity restrictions, and increased background checks.

It looks like an outright ban on all semi-autos is off of the table. FeinStein was going to introduce this legislation on Jan 3. Then it was “the end of January”. Now apparently it is Obama who is going to try to be the face of this movement.

I can only assume that the changing tactics is in response to the strong pressure being exerted by those of us calling our legislatures and expressing our views on the idiocy of passing laws that only impact law abiding citizens. Murder is aleady illegal, regardless of the tools used to achieve it.
